Team Sky Helmets

So, in light of the UCI ruling concerning helmet covers:

Why is team sky allowed to run the helmets shown here?

Are these helmets simply non-vented, and so I assume very hot? Does this present a grey area between a non-vented helmet and creating an aerodynamic advantage?

They are using covers made of something like silk, is not a plastic hard shell thing. Like panty hoses thing. Since last year in the WC the UK team has been using those things.

The bigger question for me is: why don't the helmets match their kits?
****s unsightly

If this is the case, wouldn't it fall under the first line of the first slide, "adding a removable cover is not allowed?" And that point aside, what benefit would the riders derive from this silk cover if not in the form of aerodynamics?

Every time I've seen the Sky helmets covered I also see arm sleeves and hats. It's for temperature control (keeping warm on cold/wet days)

Ask the UCI man, probably they can use this to deviate attention and save their neck from the armstrong train wreck. Since they had been using this for almost a year I doubt is illegal, well maybe if Obree use one some of these days, the UCI will say are not legal.
