Very happy with how this one turned out - for pure aesthetics, this ranks high for me. Only rode 15 miles with it so far...needs some adjusting on fit. The seat post is too high unless the flutes are in he tube a bit.

Yes, very pretty!
The Brooks saddle and matching bar tape really pop against the red frame and yellow decals. I don't know much about the brand, but this bike looks very racy with nice frame details. Good job!

Looking at that frame i wouldn't of thought brown bar tape and a Brooks would go with it, but it goes really well!
That's a really nice looking bike!

Thanks Dave - I went black with red/yellow last time and thought this might turn out better - I think it did.

Very deep! Cinelli Campione del mondos. These are a bit deep for me in drops, but nice in the curls and hoods.

I like the #63 's still the Del Mondo shape but less drop (slightly smaller bend radius) BUT 40 cm max. I discovered those in 1975 and from then on that was the bar for me.
3ttt made a similar bar and wider but really a challenge to find. I will admit that I am now experimenting with 42's as I have a set... might have a problem coming if I like them.
I like the red/saddle tan combination too.

Fantastic. I love the brown and red combination. People often advise against it but I think it looks grand.

Very nice Aaron! And I would agree, on first thought the brown on the red would not seem intuitive, but I really like the way it turned out, and do prefer it to the black. Sweet bike.

Banned.
Just curious...do both the Sachs and the Grandis fit? The Grandis looks bigger, yet you have the saddle all the way back on the rails. Both appear to have longer stems, is the top tube on the Sachs extra long? Because, the way the are set up, it sure looks to be a better fit.
The Grandis looks very nice, my complements on the build. Personally, I prefer the look of the Sachs, I think it is the lack of chrome that makes it stand out, to my eye. Both bikes are beautiful, kudos.

The Grandis frame is a better fit, or should be; I'm still playing with position. The seatpost is too high for me because I didn't want the flutes in the seat tube. I see a NR seatpost in my future. The TT's are the same (55), but the Grandis has a higher ST (54.5 to 56). The Grandis stem did feel long, but it should be right... I have to play around. You're right about the saddle - and it was moved forward soon after the photo.
I like the Grandis more on aesthetics because of the little touches - the curved brake bridge, engraved head tube, BB tangs - it has flair. The Sachs is nice, but a little flat...his newer stuff is nicer.

I'm not that much of a cannoli guy, but Isgros is exceptional. They have a peach confection they make that will floor you...some of the best bakery I've had. My dear friend Dallas can possibly comment further to that.
I really liked the Italian flag colors behind the Grandis.
"Leave the bike, take the cannoli."
One of the reason I like more modern stuff to ride are the bars...I really prefer 42. I'm going to try out those 63's...this bend is deep for me as far as the drops.

If you want wider than 40 cm ctc then Model 66 is the ticket.

I am not a big pastry fan either. I just pictured you riding down the street downing a cannoli in one hand and bag of three more in the other, while opera music plays in the background.
