Here's our Comotion Macchiato with Cytronex C-1 e-assist (pedelec), just installed. 180Wh battery and 250W power front hub motor. Easy to install and easy to remove when not in use. Disclaimer: no relation to manufacturer, only a customer.

Top Speed: ??? I've got it governed back to 30mph and I can do 32mph. This is the halfway setting, I can crank it up to 60 and these things can hit 1600 watt peaks. As it is, I have it set to 1000 watt peaks which guarantees my super oversized battery will never break a sweat.
Depending upon how you ride it this battery will give you somewhere between 46 miles and 70 miles of range. And that is subtracting 20% that you always want to leave in the battery to avoid damage and to extend the cycles of the battery.
I can go across town and back (14 miles) and that drains me from 100% to slightly less than 80%. So I can do that almost four times before having to charge.

It was really amazing how mirror perfect this became after a mere 40 hours of dremeling and hand polishing.

There are only three places cables enter the battery enclosure. One there in the front, one at the back down by the motor, and a gasketed cable groove for the tail light and gear sensor cables.
Motor cable port

All connections inside the battery enclosure are waterproof / corrosion proof using dielectric grease, silicone sealer, and liquid electrical tape.
The side panels have gaskets. All screws have been sealed with silicone sealer.

Nice work on the conversion and the e-build. I built one also with 1000 watts and 48 volts but only 10 AH. Your 24 would be great!
Mine was too fast for me-- (as an old guy) but the kid who bought it really liked the speed. I made him sign a waiver when he bought it! : )

I really love the fact that this battery is about four times larger than needed which give me a range of 50 to 70 miles depending upon how hard you push it.
The battery never breaks a sweat as this motor is governed back to about 1000 watts. The battery can put out 3000 watts and would be great for a 3000 watt cyclone mid drive motor. Which means this battery is hardly working at all and should last a much longer time as a result.

Nice mid drives-- what are the specs? I'm working in a bike shop where they sell Cannondales primarily. These mid drives are becoming pretty sweet and sleek.
I just bought an I-Zip Vibe 3 with mid drive. Nothing outstanding but I got a new '18 model at about half the original price. Impresssed with the help from just 350 watts.

Latest, a three-speed IGH cruiser with rear coaster brake and 48V, 1200w ebikeling DD front hub motor. Rides great with the motor off and 33 mph or so top speed. Tried to manufacture with as little "spaghetti" as possible.

First Mid Drive
This is my first mid drive. I have had several other ebikes in the past, as far back as 2007. Got this from Luna, as I am so busy I don't have time to build one. The Bafang motor is wicked fast. So far I just use the PAS and not the throttle.
At 23 mph I am ghost peddling. We have really steep hills here in Laguna Niguel, so the big motor really helps. No comparison to any of my past builds, 500W Ha!
