Extreme Mountain Biking?
I just watched this movie i downloaded calld "ddx-roam" which features some serious extreme looking mountain biking...alot of names popped up alot...Matt Hunter is the only one i can remember at the moment..
I noticed their bikes look alot different from what Im used to seeing...their front shocks seemed to extend all the way to the handlebars and their rear shock was a much longer spring than i have every seen, plus their seats were completely lowered to the frame...
What type of mountain biking is this?? Is that considered "all mountain", "downhill"...or something different all together?

Probably something along these lines:

Looking at this bit, I'm amazed at the lengths they wet through to get some of the shots.

It sounds like the Whistler section of Roam. Roam has a lot of freeride and downhill riding in it. The Sun Valley section with Peaty and Shandro is what I would call good trial riding. That is a great video.

But anyway...I guess what they are doing in the video would be considered "downhill" ?

Roam features freeride, downhill, Dirt jumping, and trials. Its one of the better mountain biking videos that i've seen. Even my girlfriend who doesn't really like my biking habit enjoyed watching the movie.

Don't screw the little guy, its not like these guys are raking in cash hand over fist. If you like the movie, find it and buy it. Heck I have been stealing movies, software and songs longer than you have been alive (more than likely) but never screw the little guy.
