A self-driving E-Bike? A buyback program for US Postal replica bikes? Bringing back high quality steel frames? Nah. Too far-fetched.

A buddy who works at Bike Rumor sent me a spy shot of the prototype testing last summer.

It's going to be called the Trek R300:

Recumbent sales will double overnight, and hit triple digits.

You would think people would have learned from the Segway fiasco not to engage in this "change the world" nonsense.

Maybe they're selling out to Skynet . . . . whoops! I meant Amazon (meh, same thing).

Lets face it, Amazon is steadily marching towards world retail domination, so why wouldn't they want to get into the bicycle market?

True! Plus the carbon fiber underpants are just too stiff.

Giant has had an E-Road bike out for a while. A friend of mine has one. You definitely will need the electric assist to pedal that tank around.

i bet they've perfected a drive shaft chainless system

a drive shaft system that's reliable, light weight and effective, that's the only thing that would be revoluionary, ie mean graphen is just another type of carbon fiber, not that history shattering, but a drive shaft bike would be history shattering if it actually worked well and was light weight right?

That's not it because I received the teaser email today and it does look to be frame material. Why is there 2 threads on this mystery release?
