Giant has had an E-Road bike out for a while. A friend of mine has one. You definitely will need the electric assist to pedal that tank around.

i bet they've perfected a drive shaft chainless system
a drive shaft system that's reliable, light weight and effective, that's the only thing that would be revoluionary, ie mean graphen is just another type of carbon fiber, not that history shattering, but a drive shaft bike would be history shattering if it actually worked well and was light weight right?
