Yup, school is back in session. sheesh

After a nice summer of commuting with calm, respectful drivers, the first day of school was today. Man, the nuts were out. The average pace of the cars seems to have picked up by 5-10 mph, and there were about twice as many. I am hoping everyone mellows out a bit over the next week or two.

I'm just happy the brats will be going back to school and not loitering all day and night on the streets, in the malls, stores and basically being menaces. Woot!

And people laugh when I say that schools are prisons.

School doesn't start here until next week, but I am NOT happy about all the new students moving to town who have no clue how to drive especially around cyclists!

I am not sure if the colleges around here started yet. The grade schools did. So we have parents late for work after dropping the kids off. The evening commute is about the same. It's just the morning one that is a bit more tense.
