Campagnolo “No Record” high flange hubs
I've been somewhat casually searching for a set of Campagnolo Record high-flange hubs, and recently bought a used rear that appears to be one of those “No Record” ones -- with the sun logo bisected by “Campagnolo” but no “RECORD” beneath. The little research I did on it suggests that these are of pre-1963 date. Are there any other differences between them and the later Record high-flanges?
There seems to be some mystique about these, probably lost on me; I'd like to end up with a matched high-flange pair, but I'm not terribly fastidious about such things, and I don't have any bikes of the early 60s variety that cry out for a pre-1963 hub. Will I be waiting forever, and paying an arm and a leg to find a 32H or 36H front to match?

I have what I believe to be a couple HF Nuovo Tipo hubs around that came with a Falcon I bought back in 1975. I believe that at the time the Tipo hubs were part of the GS group. The Tipo hubs use 3/16" balls instead of 7/32" and don't have the oil port in the center of the hub. I don't know if there were Record hubs with these features.

How badly were the barrels rusted? I have several old Phil hubs that need to look like yours.

Sorry about that, I had to delete the post because I somehow inserted links rather than the actual photo. Here's my post previous to Rabid Koala's:
It's definitely slotted holes, world/sun logo, and no Record. Looks like a Record hub to me.
Was there a slotted Nuovo Tipo? I've never seen such a thing.
Didn't all the Gran Sport/Nuovo Tipo hubs have a shield logo?
And, just because I had the camera out and hubs handy, here's the old-style Phil Wood high-low flange hubset that I bought a couple years ago and just recently sent to them (user un-serviceable) for new bearings and a makeover. They polished the barrels, which were originally brushed chrome, and rusting, so if I do a repaint on the frame they're destined for, I'll probably have the barrels painted to match the frame.

Some said that they'd be fine polished up, and they do look a lot better; but I think that I'll paint them. PW charged $40 to polish, and did the bearings for $70. I'm happy, and I think that I'll build them to a set of wheels for a Raleigh Internationale (not cyclocross, but a somewhat “ŕ la Française” build, except for the Phil hubs -- and I won't be kvetching about the frame construction, either -- maybe I can get a set of “Philippe” script transfers for the hub barrels).
I can post more photos of the cosmetic state of barrel, if you like.

Here is my slotted Nuovo Tipo hub from '72. The pictures are dark and the hub is dirty.
Besides the skewer and the lack of oil port and cover, the tipo also has a thinner flange.

Nuovo Tipo didn't exist in '64. You've got a no-Record Record.

I don't think I've ever seen a pair of these that was not rusted. Unfortunately, I don't think that a rechrome is an option, unless you wanted to chrome the flanges too (sans bearings and spindles, of course) like Grand Bois (ex-Dirtdrop) did to his Campy crankset. I saw some Krylon “chrome silver” rattlecan in the HW store the other day, and I know that some powder coat also comes in a very reflective silver, if that's any help. But brushed chrome look -- hard to fake that.

My medium flanged Phil hubs from the late '70s are in a non rusty condition. I had some No Record Record hubs with my '66 Paramount. All of them had date codes on the lock nuts of 1963.

The Locknuts are 1958
I found this website https://www.thevintagebikelife.com/#!...t-maybe-single
the #14 Catalog has Hub # 1036 pista but this has no lock ring
So is this a 1st Generation Record from 1958?

Guess your post is old now but do you still have this rear hub by any chance? I'd be keen to match it with the front hub I've had for decades...
