Anybody recognize this bottom bracket?

I'm a bit stumped with this but confident that BF C&V will come to the rescue.

This is the bottom bracket on my 1983 Specialized Sequoia. Anybody recognize it, and if so, know what tool I need to track down to remove it?
There are 8 notches in there that none of my tools fit, and Google is failing me. If it helps, both sides look the same (drive side and non-drive side). Both have a lock ring, no flats, etc.

Looks like a Suntour VX cartridge bearing bb. There's a tool for it, but it's probably impossible to find. After loosening the lock rings, I was able to remove the cups using a pin spanner, .

Right you are, it's a Suntour VX.
I only have an adjustable pin spanner but that was enough to get it out.

Thanks!

There is a tool for that BB:

Fun fact: Phil Wood BB mounting rings will fit the SunTour cartridge, so if you ever want to use it in a frame with different threading, you just need to get rings from Phil.
