Bottom bracket
I found just the right frame, but it has a cheap tourney cartridge bottom bracket. I want to upgrade it to a 105 group set. Can I replace the bottom bracket with a 105 threaded bottom bracket?

Should be no problem, as long as you plan to upgrade the crank to 105 at the same time that you upgrade the BB.
If you just wanted to change out the BB for some reason but keep your current crank, then no. The Tourney BB and crank are square taper and won't work with a 105 BB.
