Fred robs bank
Amazing what you can find searching through google news. From KPRC Local 2 News in Houston:
"Investigators said the man rode up to the bank on a bicycle, went inside and approached a teller...The man showed the teller a note that demanded money and said he had a bomb, officials said...The man left the bank, got on his bicycle and rode away."
Description of the Suspect:
Detectives said the man is white, 50 to 55 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 170 to 200 pounds. He had long gray hair that was pulled back in a ponytail and a gray beard.
I have to assume he was riding a 70's steelie

A few miles south of where I work a bank was robbed twice by a guy on a bike. Rode off and disappeared in an apartment complex. And I think he only had a note as well.
It's too bad that law enforcement keeps preaching "leave it to us - don't try to be a hero". If they instead would give "how to be a hero class" and more people got involved, it would be a better world to be in. Too many people look the other way now days...

Did the old lady ask the good samaritan to help her? Have you ever priced a gunshot wound treatment at an ER? If you don't have medical insurance or a spare hundred grand in the bank it would behoove anyone to stay away from armed criminals.
