I'm a huge fan of Feathered Friends bags.... They don't come cheap but will last a lifetime with care. Don't know anything about the ones you mention. Feathered Friends are also made local for me so that gives them the support the locals plus point.

You like roomy bags. So do I. So find one. I take it neither of
those are especially roomy or you wouldn't have had a reason to post.

Some people who move around a lot like a snug bag so it moves with them. Others like a bag they can move around in. If you like the latter you might have a look at the Big Agnes bags. They have insulation on the top and a pocket for the sleeping pad on the bottom. That works well to keep the pad under you and saves weight and bulk by eliminating the insulation on the bottom. Some of their models are very roomy.

Consider the system as a whole. My light system has a top only bag with sleeve for pad, inside a roomy soft bivy. The whole thing rolls up together and is very warm. Different conditions and I'm in something else. Adding a soft bivy extends the temperature so far that distinctly lightly bags can work.

I bought mine at REI. Great selection and price. Best quality . I'd look there.

I camp in the UK using a Pipedream 400 on an Exped 7 Downmat. The combination is very cozy.
I am 6 feet tall and weigh 80 kilos.
I can turn over in the Pipedream, but find it a close fit and cannot describe it as roomy unless you are a smaller size than me.

Check out Sierra Trading Post. They have several down bags right now. I just ordered a Marmot, I even had a 20% off email coupon that I used, so the price was very attractive.

Anto, the fellas at Alpkit are great. Order one from them first and see how it fits. You'll be able to tell right away if it is too small. They have great customer service and will take a return no problem.
I ordered one of their bags a few years back at the same time I ordered a Mountain Equipment Dreamwalker, so I could compare the two. The zip on the Alpkit wasn't as good as on the ME, but I think they have improved a lot since then.

that's a lot of money for a bag. i bought a military suprlus canvas bag, looks like it's designed to last- at a suprlus/outdoors store and i'm really happy with it. i am starting to buy for quality and durability as well as lightweight now, rather than for price, but in this case I got it all for $20. I like to also buy things w/o zippers as they tend to break, but this had a quality zipper. check out the surplus stores is my idea

The absence of an Irish Army makes "Army Surplus" a bit hard to find!
As for me Anto, prolly a camping trip in the not-too-distant future. Feeling lazy so will probably drive.
