What machine do you have? And what programs are you using for the modeling?

It's a Onefinity Pro in the Woodworker size.

Currently using Carveco Maker, as there was a free one-year subscription included with the machine. I'll keep using it for now, but I might dip my toes in to Vectric before renewing the license; just based on the number of user tutorials out there, it seems like the Vectric suite has a bigger following, and that's usually for a reason (and, after watching of couple videos on the recently released v12, some of the features are intriguing).

I’m still plugging along with dark roasts on my Rancilio. I like the dark chocolatey flavor and it’s hard to screw them up.i get beans from a local roaster and he implores me to go lighter and the lightest I’ve gone is his medium roast Sumatra which I admit, does have more interesting notes.

My insurance company sent me the benefit breakdown yesterday for the Xtandi drug (30 days) that I’m supposed to start today after eddication class. Along with my pancreas pills, $4k, Eyelea injections, $3k, and misc stuff, I’m probably nearing Velo Vol and DougRNS realm for monthly drug costs. I’m certainly getting my drug insurance moneys worth.

I mostly do single origin, but a currently pulling HappyMug's Eclipse blend, which has some natural and (I think) washed varieties. I gave it a try because the tasting notes indicated both berry and chocolate notes (the wife likes the dark and chocolatey, too)... and it's been spot-on! I haven't had my wife try it yet, but if she likes it, I'll let you know.

If you do dip your toes in to lighter, try natural or - if you come across it - anaerobic natural. I haven't done a ton of sampling, but those processes seem, to me, to avoid the acidity that many dark roast drinkers dislike. The caveat is that the natural/anaerobic can have varying degrees of fermented fruit aroma/flavor; I like it, but understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea. If you have a good relationship with your roaster, you should see if they'll float you 20-40g to try.

You hit the nail on the head. I definitely dislike acidity and the acidity seems to become more prominent as the coffee cools. That's bad for me as I like to sip my coffee.

Sheesh, that's the amount actually paid?

If I order the expensive drug I'm currently sampling (and I may not because it doesn't seem to be doing much), the retail is $6,000. I'm guessing $3k? actually gets billed after insurance markdown. The other drugs I take are inexpensive. Methotrexate, prednisone, naproxen.

Yeah, I was the same way. Check that - I *am* the same way. I still don't like that acidity and actively avoid it. Try natural/anaerobic and just say "no" to anything with any kind of citrus tasting notes.

our old dig’s last trip to the vet, a little over a year ago, she gave him months at beat. He lasted a few weeks.
We now have a cat nearing the end. A 15 year old black one that is getting a salt and pepper look. Neither of us has any old cat experience.

i am now doing a 50:50 mix of robusta and frenc roast arabica. The robusta is weak on acid and strong on caffiene. No chocolate or fruity notes. Just coffee.

We've been introducing solid foods to Liliana at ~6.5 months. She had broccoli in her diaper yesterday, so I'd say that's a success!

Nice that they include a 3-axis probe with it, I can imagine that makes offset adjustment during tool changes a lot simpler assuming it works well.

You said you're looking to use it to print money, what kind of stuff are you wanting to make? 32x32x6 seems pretty big on paper.

There's a recently opened new section of singletrack in downtown that I finally went to yesterday. On an hour and a half 15 mile ride I was able to get in 8 miles of dirt, which is pretty sweet considering the trailhead is a 15 minute ride from my house!

Trails are nothing too exciting, but pretty twisty so a good place to work on cornering skills - something I really need to do. I've developed so many bad habits that I need to break, most of all learning how to weight the front wheel in turns. I've always been nervous about the front wheel washing out which makes me keep my weight too far back...which contributes directly to the front wheel washing out

There's also a new jump line which I will likely hurt myself on at some point.



Best part of yesterday, though, was realizing that the last ride I did on this bike (where I said that I rode terribly and everything felt awful) I rode the entire time with the rear shock locked out

Close call a minute ago. Watching baby this AM instead of training before work, Liz is a bit sick.

I put Lilly on a trundle bed we have in the garage while assembling some things for work. She rolled right off the bed onto the foam gym flooring we had below in about 2 seconds... and I wasn't close enough to grab her. 3' drop. Freaked me the hell out for a second. Fortunately, she landed with amazing form in a strong plank-like position, and stopped crying within 10s of being picked up. She's a tough kid!

I know his is no news to many of you, but man, as they become more mobile, I gotta watch her like a hawk and be more vigilant. I can't just plop her somewhere and count on her staying put.

no. Maybe I get them in my food but not as a supplement.

I only take 3 things requiring a Rx. A generic statin for cholesterol, a generic beta blocker for heart rate reduction for my Afib and a generic pain med for nerve pain. I also take vitamin D. Everything else is available over the counter but I use one as a Rx since it saves me $. Monthly spend is not too bad. Prolly under $50.
