What's the question here? Trying to put 27.5" rims and tires on a 26" frame? Buying a new 27.5" bike and wondering how it will handle?

I doubt many 27.5" rims and tires will fit on typical 26" forks or between the stays, unless you run really small tires, which would defeat the point.

A lot of people have mounted 27.5 wheels on frames and forks designed for 26 inch wheels. Some will work, others won't. If the frame/fork you are considering can fit a 2.3/2.4 tire it will probably fit a 27.5 wheel.

True, but I don't know many old 26" MTN bikes that can fit 2.3/2.4" tires in the back. Front, sure, provided the fork bridge is high enough.
