A journey worth the effort. As you progressed, I seemed to feel this was both a mental challenge and a physical effort. Triumph of both, Kudos!

I'm now 300 miles into it with this rig. Great to have a relatively lightweight (21.65 lbs), high performance bike that can go fast on both smooth dirt roads and curvy single track. It feels responsive and agile, yet smooth and confidence building. Pretty sweet bike.

@jan nikolajsen
Any update on this?
I have a friend contemplating a Cutthroat and would be interesting to hear if it has seen any gravel roads or even pavement.
Bikepacking?

I use it just as a fitness ride on dirt with paved approaches, no bike packing (the routes around here takes more bike than this).
It's fast and nimble, closer to a Warbird style gravel bike than a mountain bike.

Kaibab Customs made me a set of simple, low volume packs for day riding; positioned so all three bottle cages still can be used. We spec'ed them with non-waterproof zippers for ease of one handed access. The 'gas tank' style top tube bag is extra low to mesh with the spacer less stem, and perfectly sized for all the snacks needed.
