I think the majority of the disc alignment issues will be with shocked forks. which doesn't really apply to gravel bikes.
As for the Tamland I think the steel forks are QR and the carbon forks are TA? I'd actually be interested in riding both and experiencing the difference first hand. Especially since I've never ridden a disc brake steel fork before.

If you do test a steel fork pay close attention to the diameter of the legs along their whole length. The difference between a good fork and a overly stiff fork can be 4mm right above the dropout. Blade curve, steerer diameter, crown type make a difference as well but are easier to see visually than small difference in tubing diameter.

You should offer to do their photography for them .... all of the pictures on the websites it looks really dull and washed out not something you'd want to buy but looks fab in your pics and the colours' great

Thanks! Color really pops in the sunlight! I absolutely love the electric blue Apex version color. Didn’t think I would be happy at all with the Vulcan Green based on the website photo, but in person seeing it I was like, oh....
Found these tires, wonder if they would match, lol?
Do you actually plan to swap the Nanos out for something?

i was considering a 32-35c tire and seeing which I like better for combination road/gravel riding. But seeing as how these rims are not for tubeless, also thinking about getting another set of rims, maybe HUNT 4 SEASON GRAVEL DISC WHEELSET, and then it would be really simple to swap back and forth. The stock wheel/tire set might be better for summer riding when the ground is softer. But just thinking ahead at this point...
