Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

In the world of weird things that don't make sense, comes this gem:

I ordered a product and have been following the shipping through USPS. It arrived at the Peoria P.O. yesterday morning from Kansas City, MO. I live 7 miles from the Peoria P.O, so, I figured the item would arrive today but it didn't so I checked the tracking and it has been sent to the USPS Joplin, MO routing facility with the notation, "Package routed to wrong post office. Package will be transferred to correct post office for delivery."

In other words, my package arrived in Peoria instead of East Peoria where the two post offices are 3 miles apart, but the package was sent 450 miles away to Joplin, MO instead of sending it on the 3 miles to the East Peoria post office.

Yeah, seeing them and clicking was fairly easy.
Hopefully the green ones don't end up in Misery.

Several companies make them.

I do have one bike with Schrader tubeless valves, and one has one of those on it.

The other four tubeless wheelsets are presta, however.

Thanks for the goodwill. I am lucky to still be alive and to see the second birthday after the workplace accident. I really have Machka to thank for her absolutely sensational support for the past 16 months. Our medical professional here in Australia as well as the insurer have also been incredibly supportive.

Same here. I am close enough to the Jersey shore that I can ride a bike there. Can't understand the allure of hanging at the beach all day, day after day, like so many people do. If I go "down the shore," as we say in these parts, I need to have activities. One week the Ex-GF and I rode to her parents' house in Avalon for a week. Did day rides every day and rented a kayak one morning. We may have gone on the beach twice for short periods.

And he got water. When I was riding across the country a woman in MN turned me down when I asked if I could fill my bottles from her garden hose. She told me there was a bar down the road.

@Rowan

Last day in Delaware. Four days and four rides. I can’t complain. Much. I did get buzzed a few times by angry drivers in pickups.

Metal Schraeder caps used to come with a tool on top to take out the guts out of the valve and sometimes a rubber cap on top of that, if memory serves.
