Put a horn on your tandem?

Do you have this much fun on your tandem? I like the idea of cymbals. Note so keen on a stoker with bass drum, though.

That photo made my day. Thanks for posting it. I'm sending it to a friend who builds lots of triples/quads by recycling discarded 1/2 bikes (okay, they're a bit heavy, but he lives in Davis, CA, where the nearest hill is 25 miles away and there are stop-sign free bike paths to get you most of the way wherever you are going). He can use the chuckle more than me, his 30-month-old just had head surgery today.

A drum on a tandem? Some folks use a 'drum' brake, does that qualify?

...except for the tuba player who does not have cranks... just foot pegs so that his feet are free to play the bass drum.

I'm thinking that thing is a trip to get launched. What do you suppose they have in those beverage bottles?

You need to check out the videos... These guys clown around on the darn thing and make incredibly tight maneuvers at very slow speeds all while playing their instruments. It's really amazing to see. I'm guessing the bike must weigh well over 150 lbs.

Thanks for the photo. Gave me a smile today. And we like our Airzound too, Pathdoc. I must say, that is a great way to mount it. Gonna try it.

Anti gravity Pathdoc!

Well, six guys on a tandem playing music is impressive, but Pathdoc's anti gravity trick on the zipper pulls might take the technology award!
