I love both my Goblin and Griffin, and the third Airborne frame is being built as we speak (which is scheduled for release later this summer but I know nothing about that... )
The Griffin is just flat-out crazy fun, and eats the sandy trails up here in the desert like it was purposely built for it. Since there is so much contact patch with the bigger 3" tires, I am actually much, much faster downhill on this bike, but only a slight bit slower than the Goblin on the climbs. I can hit 36mph on the Seven Sisters downhill section, whereas on the Goblin I am lucky to hit 30mph. Since that pic, I have shortened the stem, and cut the steer tube, so it just gets faster and funner!!

Picked up an older Klein Pulse. In great condition, all original - I put new brake pads, brake cables, and new SPDs on, and gave it a good clean, and it's as good as new.

Got this in the other day. I was holding out for Airborne to restock the Goblin but found out it would be another 2-3 months and I couldn't wait that long. I ended up getting a really good deal through DB Corporate that came out cheaper in the long run.

DB Overdrive Pro 27.5

First real mountain bike I believe it's a 07/08 KHS Lucky 7. Paid 600 which seemed to be a fair deal in my area for a FS bike. Plan to ride my local trails with it.

Here are my two current rides. I apologize for the iphone pictures, I'll take some better ones when I have my camera with me. Both were built from the frame up, and the wheelset on the Supergo was my first try at building wheels.

My SS:

1993 Supergo Access Comp XTR - SS, rigid
True Temper Platinum OX Comp II tubing (double butted)
Deore LX M56x components (brakes, hubs, crankset)
WTB Dual duty rims and DT Swiss spokes, Continental Trail King 2.2 tires
Single speed with "magic ratio" of 34-17
Early Stumpjumper fork (bi-plane crown) with Specialized threaded headset and ControlTech stem

My geared mtb:

1994 Bridgestone MB-5 - 1x10, tubeless, carbon rigid fork
Tange MTB tubing
Shimano SLX Components (Shifter, cassette, rear derailleur)
Truvativ FireX GXP crank with FSA narrow-wide ring
Deore/XT V-brakes
Mavic Crossland wheels with Vredestein Black Panther Xtrac tires set up tubeless
Raceface stem, Salsa bar, and Avid Speed Dial 7 levers

Backwards as in outside-in or that the opening for the clip should be towards the back of the bike? It was my first exposure to the single speed master links, I've only used the KMC 10 speed ones before this.

Thanks for pointing it out, I thought something looked off but I wasn't sure what it was supposed to look like.

The closed end rotates forward not the open end. Less chance of the clipped getting knocked off!
True on motorcycles and bicycles.
Bike looks good otherwise.

That makes sense. I'll flip it around when I'm in the shop next. Thank you!

Is that a Top Fuel 8? If it is, I have that exact same bike.

Yup!

I believe this is a 2016 model, I really enjoyed riding it.

Only thing I missed was the remote lockout from my hard tail.

Recently built up a new wheelset: Flows (white for 1/2 the price of black = OK) on a new front X9 hub, reused Bontrager SS rear hub I've been running since 2010 & new DHFs front & rear - sans tubes.
...and an Avalanche open bath cartridge in my Pike .

My favorite vintage MTB, an '84 Alpina Uno. Has a Shimano SIS (thumbies) 3x6. It's a kick to ride.

Had it out in our blizzard last night....
