Today I found out that the fork dropouts on my Lambert are not friendly with my Yakima fork mount, too small an opening. This is my only bike that didn't fit. FML

Made a bomb Thai Massaman Curry dish. Essentially anything with curry gets my vote.

But, you guys are entitled to your opinions. Not trying to be combative.
Today I was less sore than I expected and rode a quick couple miles downtown to buy concert tickets in person and save the $20 online fee.

I said the ads are insulting but I never said that I was personally insulted.
Arguing with things I never said has become a sport.

Today I finished everything I wanted to do to the Niner gravel bike.

Today I road the crabón fibré BMC to work and found out that, despite 2 months off the bike and a very slightly bum knee, I can still average 18.0mph through the city.

Today I saw this in the parking lot at HEB Central Market. Usually just see Lexuses, Beemers and Benzes.

Went for a ride for the first time since getting sick last week. Took it easy, felt like ****, went home after 20 miles.
Fresh Garbage
I did almost nothing at work today besides looking for fire blankets and extension cords while waiting for scaffolding and work permits. Work in a refinery can painfully slow going through all the safety procedures.

Had a day off (and another tomorrow!)
Went on a 45km group ride in the evening. Lots of hills, so I'm hurting a bit. When I got home, I decided I needed coffee beans so went out on a quick recovery spin on the fixie. Unfortunately the coffee shops/roasters near my place (there are a few) were all closed. On top of that, my crank arm came loose, so I had to walk a couple of kilometres home.
Still a great night.

That's nothing compared to working at a nuclear power station where safety regulations and complex work procedures make it almost impossible to get any work accomplished.

I am grateful that you pay attention to safety even if it is just standing around waiting to work.
Thank you for this, both of you.

Fresh Garbage
These refineries are dangerous places and the one I'm working at has a bad history. I wasn't feeling too good about it my first few days.

Make it a point to come back next time and do (a little bit) better!

Today I learned about Gevenalle shifters, they look sweet!
In other news, I swapped over some 23mm gator skins onto my Surly fixed gear from 32's and what a difference it made

Considering this forum's tilt towards bigger and bigger tires over recent years - I am pleasantly surprised to see skinnies commented on favorably by anybody here
