Just curious... why did you choose a black seatpost? and are you going to cover the handlebars at all? Something about that black doesn't sit right (but that's just one guys opinion)

My Kilo is now finished. I've had a lot of fun learning about bikes and turning mine into the one I wanted!

Replaced: Stem, bars, pedals, clips, straps, wheelset, and chain.

I dig it. I have a white kilo as well (stripped though). It's too bad white bar wraps end up looking like that. Love those rims and chain ring though, what are they?

Hey thanks man. The rims are Weinmann DP-18s and the chainring is a Sugino 48t standard ring that comes stock on the TT pro.

I love the use of the all city fork on the kilo, how did that change the geometry/feel?

Haha, cc700, I just got those bars about a week ago!

Anyway, I love the Kilo, but at this point there really is no point in getting one for me. Although I have a conversion, I have the feeling that Columbus rides better than whatever the Kilo has. I also don't really understand upgrading a kilo... I mean, my bars and crankset are worth the same as a kilo... If I had one I surely wouldn't be spending a lot of $$$.

cc700, since I know your kilo has a lot into it, could you tell me why you didn't just spend more on a nicer frame?

Do you know how condescending you sound?

I bet that you can't even tell the difference between your sweet Columbus steel conversion from the plain ole Reynolds 520 Kilo TT. Tires matter a lot when it comes to ride quality.

Which Columbus is your steel conversion made of anyways?

It was handed down to me, and immediately after it had a powdercoat. I really don't know. Do you know how elitist/prickish you sound?

I just saw it on PedalRoom, sweet looking bike. I'm pretty much a prick but I get away with my sqrl pixs.
