Low-profile floor pump chuck

Does anyone know of "low-profile" presta valve chucks for floor pumps that will stay on by themselves? This is for disk wheels and such with little room for big chucks or chucks with thumblocks. I use a Silca presta valve right angle chuck, but I have to hold it on with one hand while I pump with the other hand. It makes inflating to high pressures difficult.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

I agree, but it doesn't work on many disc wheels because of the hose orientation. Some 30+ years ago took one, cut off the barb and soldered it into a hole I drilled in the side. I then got fancy and put a pressure relief valve in the top. Used it for many years then gave it to a friend.

Later you could buy heads with a similar design made by Zefal, and others. They were very common when disc wheels were more common. I assume someone still makes them, but it might take a bit of searching. (or you can repeat my effort of 30 years ago)

thanks
This led me to the Hirame on eBay and a Tanaka at Excel Sports. I wonder if the thumb-lock will get in the way in the little cave for the valve stem. I will see.

For this purpose, I'd start with an o-ringed Presta to Schrader adapter; they're pretty damn small, have to be unscrewed to come off, and will hold loads of pressure.
