Stock stem on 50cm CAAD9?
Hi guys,
Planning to swap out the bar to a FSA compact, and to keep the reach same, I was informed [here], that I would need to increase the stem length? I was thinking of width but never gave thought to reach.
Now, this is confusing. I measure it as 90mm center to center [50cm CAAD9, 2008]. Whats confusing is the angle.
Am I correct in assuming that this would be the 6* stem or 7* stem? In other words, would a 84 degree rise be OK?
Was thinking of this Ritchey stem in 100mm. Should be OK you think?

Thanks

hmmm, i think you would be better off gettign the bars first. mounting them up and then seeing what that feels like. its hard to say with precision how much extra stem length you will need.

I did mean to order the stem after trying the bar, but this was my main question:
Am I correct in assuming that this would be the 6* stem or 7* stem? In other words, would a 84 degree rise be OK?
