OK, so I'm on the right road...

...but where the heck is the ROAD???

(Note to self: Powerline right-of-way "roads" are NOT roads!)

Good ole GPS! One of my wife's uncles programmed his GPS on a trip to see us a few years back, but he kept being directed down narrow, off the beaten path backroads. He eventually realized the GPS had selected "bike trails" to follow.

Out along the Snake River Canyon trail today. For those that don't know the area, this is Twin Falls, ID and Shoshone Falls in the background.

I remember watching Wild World of Sports for what seemed like hours of pre-stunt hype only to thoroughly disappointed at Knieval's failure. I have mapped out a two-week loop from/to Boise that includes a night in Twin Falls. It has some logistical issues (some long days and food scarcity) so I have been hesitant to do it. I need to HTFU and go for it.

Got that right
Beautiful. We moved up here in '61 and I'm very glad we did. Kinda raised on homestead...2 story log cabin with a barrel wood stove, no plumbing, and hauling water from artesian well, but what a life it was.
lol, getting too crowded nowadays.
