thanks John.
Me thinks I have an 86 110 in Black (bought in 94), though it does not completely match the catalog description.

I've add the 1979 catalogue to the collection, thanks to Dfrost, who sent me his original by genuine, old school, mail.

Bikes: Wow, where to start? A collection of 1980's and early 90's road, touring, and MTBs from the likes of Trek, Schwinn, Cannondale, Fuji, Miyata, Univega, Panasonic, and GT. It has gotten rather out of control.

I just bought a 1988 712 frame to build into a daily rider, so it was nice to see it in the catalog from so long ago.
THANK YOU!!!

Looking for 1991 Miyata catalogue
Does anyone know where to find a Miyata 1991 catalogue, or can possibly send one to me? I only saw a specs list on a recent resource page mentioned a few posts back.
Many thanks!

I would like to use the support of this community. I recently purchased a T-model model Koga Miyata which in my books means it was manufactured in 1991. The frame is in good condition, but the rest of the bike is a random mix of cheap components. I would very much like to know what the bike used to be like originally.

This is exactly the thing. I am aware of Koga catalogues, but this concerns a rather peculiar bike I suspect was a rebranded Miyata for the European markets.
The bike is branded as a Koga Miyata FullPro Limited Titanium, and the frame number starts with a T. The metal looks very similar to the Miyata exclusive titanium tubing and the seat stays are special. They start as a 1-piece aluminium piece at the seat tube and have a Y-shape aluminium splitter lug where the brakes attach to continue down towards the chain stays.
It looks very much like curbtender posted on 05-01-18 (sorry, new users cannot post links on this forum).
So to recap, it is a T-frame Koga Miyata and it looks very little like anything else I have found so far.
Many thanks in advance in case anyone has more info.

ApeShape, a frame with a 1991 serial number code could be either a 1991 or 1992 model, depending on exactly when it was manufactured during 1991. So, don't neglect to check the 1992 Koga-Miyata catalogues.

Looking for 1991/92 Miyata catalogue
Dear T-mar,
Thanks for the tip.
I alreadya had a look at the available catalogues for Koga and for Miyata. They feature slightly different specs for the components, sometimes Campy and sometimes Shimano.
I admit this gives a broad idea of what this bike might have originally had.
None of the catalogues feature though this specific seat stay design with a Y-shape aluminium lug at the brake attachment.
If anyone has such a titanium bike, has photographed it or has an idea what it supposedly looked like 30 years ago, please let me know.

The 1993 Koga-Miyata catalogue shows Full Pro Titanium having the wishbone seat stay design.

1988 miyata sixfifteen
Hey guys,
Great posts, and cinco I appreciate the link to the catalogs. I've had my sixfifteen for about a little over a year now. Actually got her from a friend that got her at a garage sale. I had to refurbish it and swapped out a few parts due to wear and tear and what I would call creature comforts (ie: flat pedals and a few other addition). I've since fallen in love with her and use it as my daily commuter and my weekend tour bike.
Dows anyone have any other specs on this model and any ideas on where I can buy a matching rack?

I have the 1980 Miyata catalog & price sheet at home--looks like that's one of the few left out of the archives so far?

Will (Random Tandem) Todd has just sent me scans of the 1991 catalogue, so because of his generosity we now have the 1991 Miyata Catalogue available on the selector page, orr, directly, here.

That's a cool website @John Nolan . I will probably be able to borrow a whole stack of Koga-Miyata brochures with all the additional spec sheets from someone soon so I will be scanning and sharing them in the Show us your Koga-Miyata thread.
I'm also doing a slow comparison of crossovers between models and it looks like the Miyata TripleCross and the Koga-Miyata TerraLiner are the same frame?
Main differences I see are the different fork, a chaincatcher on the chainstay and a dynamo bracket on the seat stay. And it looks like Miyata doesn't use lugs anymore?

1993 Koga-Miyata TerraLiner
