Replacement seal for Specialized 1” threaded headset?

These headset sealing rings are pretty specific in shape and dimensions. The best place to have a chancer is a shop's bin of old parts. The good thing is that these seals are not a needed part. If running a headset without the seal bothers you a skirt seal can be had by cutting a wider "rubber band" from a tube and sliding it over the headset. Andy

Best thing may be to replace it, buy two or three in case they stop making them or they keep making them and the price explodes due to lack of manufacturers. Should be at or under $40.

Finding that seal will be very hard and even after you track one down it will be hard to know for certain that it is the right one. What I would do is to replace the whole headset, a 1" threaded headset doesnt cost much and will be all nice and new. Replacing the headset will cost a little more then just the seals but you will know for certain that everything is compatible.
