Flowers in the attic...

Finally got back into the attic to attend to the Flowers, er, bicycles that I had seen when we were getting the Christmas decorations...most were my riders when they went up so are serviced and ready to go!
Few curiosities and parts bikes....
Couriosities...

HA! I've seen several Vista bikes before, but never noticed they ripped off Motobecane with the "Made in Japan" sticker on the downtube.

How about the Araya 631 sticker on the seat tube...
Bike has a full Arabesque 600 group...
Definitely gonna be a fun project when I get the outside benches going this summer...neglected, but not abused...

Wish I still had mine, I could use one on my commuter. They worked exactly as advertised.

Once you’ve used one...very fragile...would be just for show now...found three the other day that had never left their boxes, showcase and they were broken!
I still wanted them...crumbled in my hands!

No reason someone couldn't manage to 3d model the plastic part so anyone with a 3d printer could print out the damn thing...

Indeed, Monica and I had them on our Motos, wish I had taken them off as both were sold in later years. I'd love to have some for our C&V rides now!

Setting’ the upper limits... This bicycle is light! This bicycle is fast!

Superb dr’s, brakes, Stronglight chainring, frame is compromised at the bb...gotta decide where these parts are goin’...

This 1400 was stashed in the back of my work truck along with my “funny clothes”...I could ride this bicycle anywhere and hard as I wanted to! I would ride for an hour, hard! No time for long rides!

I didn’t recognize the two tone trek...sun blasting’ in! Denim blue! Beautiful yellow lettering! Bad crash two Julys ago on Christine here... Not a scratch on the bike, me anywhere...no ripped clothing...one shoulder up about two inches...had X-rays done...no broken bones...did my own PT...still clicks proudly once in a while...

I’ve got some nice touring bicycles here...C’dale ST600 in the upper stand...

Riders!

All flickstands are not created equally. Some are very well built. Others not so much. I don't know if it's different brands or just different eras, but some of them are not really worth the effort.

Ahhh...

...there they are!
Shuffling all of the indoor bicycles around...couldn’t find a bunch...found them behind the tool boxes and under the second floor in the reconfigured garage...
The unused back bedroom, Max the cat’s room, is being turned into a/the indoor workshop! No more working in a mid 40* garage...well, maybe just for the smelly stuff...
