I ran the old Rangers to 4500 miles on Castrol High Mileage, which is a blend. I did valve cover gaskets on them prior to selling, and the insides looked delicious. I know that's not the best indicator, but if you've ever seen a Toyota 3.0 liter on Pennzoil, you'd get my drift. 5000 kilometers seems very low mileage for synthetic. I would likely double it, which would be 6200 miles, and I'd be very comfortable even extending it a bit from there..

Everything that breaks, I fix. Or attempt to fix. Sometimes even if I replace whatever it was, I still attempt to repair the original. Dont even get me started about the cars. In 20 years I've paid someone else to fix my vehicle once. I had just filled the tank in my old truck and the fuel pump in the tank quit working. I did have a crate engine installed in my Avalanche but that was due to disgust. It sucks up a lot of time.
I have remained close to my natural state, yet some acquire motor knowledge out of the thin air, it seems.

Oh, the shame of it! I accidentally cheated on Zwift! Take me downtown, officer! It's a fair cop!
So, like I said last night, I decided to throw caution to the wind, and ride Stage 3 of Tour de Zwift today, because this was the last indoor riding day it would be available. I chose the "C" ride, "Mountain Route" in Watopia, with the "Epic KOM' AND the really steep Radio Tower climb. I got set up, warmed up while eating a Clif Bar, and then joined the ride. I was riding really well on the flat, actually moving up in the group! I figured it was because I was in the C ride.
We hit the climb, and it was tough, but not too tough. Less arduous than the Innsbruck climb earlier this week, at least till I got to the Radio Tower climb. That was just miserable, but doable. Part of that may be the Kickr Snap's maximum slope of 15%, so I wasn't really FEELING the 17% part as 17%. I managed to get to the top, then as the slope turned negative, I spun up to 36 mph and stopped pedaling to get into 'Super Tuck'. Holy Mother of Dog!! I was FLYING!!!!!! I was passing everyone like they were standing still! I not only got the 100 km/h badge, I actually topped out at over 67 mph! I wondered whether I was the only one at 100% trainer difficulty (though in retrospect that doesn't make sense either). I shot from 109th to 86th!
I got to the end of the ride and as I was finishing up, I saw the 'Height and Weight' parameters: Weight: 205lbs. Height: 3 ft.
3 ft? THREE FEET?!?!?! No wonder I was so fast on the descent! 3 feet tall and 205 lbs? I had the aerodynamics of a CANNONBALL!!! Good God!!! I was like a really fat hobbit on an aerobike!
Then I remembered that last night I had proudly adjusted my weight DOWN to 205 from 207, because I felt I'd stabilized below 205. I must have moused over the 'Height', which is scrollable, and reset it to 3 ft without realizing. OOPS!!
How embarrassing! I fixed it, but now I feel like I need to do the stage AGAIN, but do the Alpe du Zwift at 100% as penance. Mea culpa! Mea culpa! *thwap! thwap!*
