^^^ Holy moly, I've never seen a rim do that ! How much pressure did you have in the tire ? Or, did the brake pads wear away at the rim braking surface ?

About 120lbs, and that's the result of about 15k-16k miles of all-season commuting, the brakes ate the rim. It was pretty startling to me, too. I was 6 miles from home and ended up walking. (I was headed home from work)

A blue nylon/spandex seat cover so I don't get my white leather Concor dirty every time I work on my bike. NOS! Made in USA! $5.

Trying to get my gearing right, so I picked this up on eBay. It's BCD 130, so hoping it fits the Gimondi crank and is not a quality disappointment, It was not expensive. Getting a small collection of chainrings--42, 44, 46, and now 48.

If you have a presta valve cap, it will work as an adaptor. Cut or grind part of the small (closed) end off and then put that end over the valve. A Shraeder pump will now fit. Works fine.

Idk about the netherlands, but a 30 pack of those 16g co2 canisters is like $33-ish on amazon in the us. I'm gonna pick one of those up when I use up all my co2.
Picked up a couple of really expensive decals last week...

100mm Felt stem from an LBS in Chicago this past weekend on a short trip. Slightly longer than the 90mm that I am used to, but the red stem has worn out its welcome, and this mostly black one will fit nicely with the color scheme.

Oh my god I'd be so pissed. I've had three flats in the last month which seems like a lot. CO2 rules for road-side repairs.
