Where is this? I've been dying for this for years, and maybe I've just been missing it.

Yup, same issue happens in Mobile. Not to mention that Mobile forces a specific size, so I can't zoom in and out. Also, Mobile loses some valuable information that would typically get displayed.

Yeah, this. I can't even find where in my profile page I would find my quotes now, and this has always been a super useful feature.

Good grief, this software version is fraught with problems! I do hope that repairs are on the way.

everyone is a critic so here is my 2 cents.
1. older multi color text was easier to read..liked the way it was highlighted.
2.older version was also much easier to see the number of comments to a given thread
3. is it me or did the text size change in the sig.?
4. just flagged a member trying to figure out what the exclamation point was.
site seems like all of the others now..not a plus busier visually
5.other than that and all the comments the others have made all is well....where are the emojis?
Regards Ben

xiaoman, check the thread i linked above for info on adding full edit options. i haven't tried it, but this may add the emoji options to the quick reply dialogue box.
you can also change the text size of your sig where you edit the sig by using html. mine is set to size=1.
i do hope the notifications (with quotes) returns soon.

randy, in the other thread, i learned how to attach pics in a post to a thread, but not a PM:
user cp/settings and options/edit options/miscellaneous options/message editor interface
and change to Full CKE.
this will give you a button to manage attachments after you 'go advanced' when posting a message.
that explains attaching a file to a post in a thread, but i don't know how to do it in a PM.

@Randy Jawa, you will find answers in the thread linked above
For instance to post photos from computer or device, simply go into Go Advanced and scroll down until you see mange attachments, click on it and from there it looks as though we(I say we as I prefer to upload from my device too) can post 5 or so pics much the same as we used to!
BTW when you sold off most of your collection did you sell that nice Legnano you had with the perfect patina?

I don't deal with change too well, but after calming down and reading the thread linked I feel better about it, and feel most if not all issues will be ironed out.
I feel the new layout will be OK, I do wonder if by putting the thread in the Need Help at the top right of the screen whether or not the main Admin are not C & V folk? Hence why it is not in our neck of the woods?

Thanks very much for trying to help. I was in a pretty bad mood when this problem surfaced, regarding a NOS, or close to it, TTT seat post. Anyway, I will try to learn.
You mean this one...
Not yet. But my bicycles, with the exception of the Cyclops, come and go.

eschlwc and Randy, I am glad to help, I threw my toys outa the cot to begin with, I posted that I needed to pull out of Narhays Clunker Challange because of photos, then was relieved to learn how easy it was as I am enjoying that Challange.
This new way of pictures is better on a touch screen as the boxes are bigger.
Randy, yes that is the bike I meant, I had a Legnano, but sadly it was too big, I do like them.

I just popped in here to say one thing:
I know how difficult it can be to handle forum sw upgrades from years of direct experience. Big thanks to all of the admins and moderators working to iron out the wrinkles. Your hard work and determination is appreciated!

Only place I can find to ask this: did the new changes affect/eliminate notifications if one has been quoted/mentioned? I see on some threads that mentions look different from thread to thread; for example, they once showed up highlighted in blue, but now they're not highlighted in a contrasting color and alternate in appearance in posts between these two formats: @whatever and [MENTION]whatever[MENTION]. Just a glitch?
I liked the old quote notifications - made it easier to know if there was something that needed to be addressed. I have found at least one recent quote by accident as I didn't get a notification.
Anyone else seeing these issues? If so, are fixes in the works or have we moved on?
Thanks!
DD

I'm a bit confused by this whole "upgrade". It seems that
- the upgrade was actually a downgrade (to an older version of whatever software runs the site)
- it was done by the people who make/sell/otherwise market the software (not by BF admins)

Which other thread (note I began my comment by stating I could only find this thread to pose my query) would that be? Can you link?
Thanks
