Yes, the pigs can get you. Was driving on the Pickle Parkway in Austin a couple years ago, doing about 130 (speed limit 85) on my way to the race track. After a few miles of that, I recalled the prior articles about pigs running out on that road with frequency. Slowed me down to the state accepted speed limit of 10 - 15 over the posted limit.

Friends have told me that they get really mean. If you shoot one you better kill it or it will charge you and try to gore you. I don't hunt, so no personal experience, but a lot of people we know do. All of my shooting is aimed at paper targets and sporting clays.

There is no limit or season for pigs. There is a group not far from me that offers helicopter pig hunting trips using automatic shotguns. The pigs multiply quickly and severely damage crops. From what I understand, they don't really do anything good.

Nearest Microcenter is about an hour and a quarter away. Not terrible I suppose.
Current computer is this Gateway (RIP), but with a 500W power supply and a 2GB RX460.
Current computer is this Gateway (RIP), but with a 500W power supply and a 2GB RX460.
In addition to competitive pricing, Microcenter usually has an additional discount if you buy a CPU and compatible motherboard at the same time. They often have open box stuff, too, and I think that the CPU/mobo discount still applies.
You might be able to get away with just replacing the core of the computer at first (CPU, motherboard and RAM), though it would probably be advisable to replace the power supply too, while you're at it (good ones aren't as expensive as they were 10-12 years ago). Replace the GPU when you feel like it, though I'm pretty sure that I've got something in a pile of spare parts that I could donate that would be a couple steps up.

There's a reason a Boar Spear has a cross piece behind the blade.

The meat is denser and more strongly flavored than domestic pork, and boars acquire a decidedly off-putting taste, but younger pigs and sows can be pretty tasty, especially braised or stewed.

Christmas lights for the bike path, not roads. Lousy quality I know, but I thought it was pretty cool just for the bike path. Just woods behind the bike path no roads.

My starts are usually no jersey on, shivering with the fan running because I am lazy to get off to turn the fan on. I couldn’t find a remote controlled plug-in plug on cyber Monday.

Heh. The Iggles finally pulled Wentz.
edit: and then they put him back in and he immediately gets sacked.
