I'm terribly OCD when it comes to bike parts. I'm not sure I could tolerate SunTour shifters on a Campagnolo band. I do appreciate the suggestion though.

Looking for a right side or complete indexed Shimano 7 speed downtube shifter set, brazeon mount. Pretty much anything with aluminum levers would be great.

But how does that work anyway? The shifters I have were mounted to standard (?) braze-on bosses. Presumably there is a variation of the Accushift levers that otg is sending me (if not the same lever without the clamp) that works with brazed-on bosses. Doesn't that imply that I'll be able to figure something out to make this work? Or am I wrong in my assumption about the braze-on shifter boss being standardized?
Does this mean I'm also going to have problems putting a barrel-adjuster type cable stop on the downtube bosses on my other bike?

That's not what I wanted to hear.

Oh, boy, the levers are in the mail as of this morning. I would imaging the bosses are the same as they would be on a bike with braze on bosses. I have a Miyata with accushift 6 speed shifters on it and figured if I removed them I could use barrel adjusters on it with no issue. I would think manufacturers would only put one style of braze on frames no mater what brand of components they would be using. Andy_k, if these don't work out for you let me know and I will send you payment for what you think the trade item is worth.

Don't worry about that at all. I'm still hoping it will work for me in some way, but worst case I've traded one part that I wasn't using for another perfectly functional part that I might not be using. I'm OK with that.

I have Soma Sparrow bars and Soma Moustache bars. Neither one is exactly like the Albatross -- the Moustache has no flare and the Sparrow has a lot more flare -- but they're both similar. Would you be interested in either of those?

It's the threading on the screw, that's all. Don't give up until you try the screws themselves.

Just be thankful you're not trying to mix and match new French stuff with old stuff - they used rediculous treadings that dont exist anymore...

For the curious, I got the shifters from otg today and my 6-speed friction shifters threaded on to the clamp perfectly.
I don't doubt that there is an incompatibility somewhere in this product line, but happily it wasn't a problem in this case.

anybody want a Campy non-aero lever with cracked body for parts? The blade (smooth style), pivot pin and set screw are all in very good shape, no clamp...if you were desperate and desperately creative you COULD sculpt in the missing chunk with epoxy putty, but I'm not recommending that...just sayin' (and it would be hidden by the hood). EDIT: lever is spoken for, fork still available and I don't need the V-brakes now. got those.
I have this Ishiwata-made fork from a Fuji Sangres (approx 56cm, 27" wheel) available, would trade this something...not V-brakes.

Not strictly in the normal C&V wheelhouse, but...
I've taken the plunge and ordered an adapter for my Schwinn Speedster so it will accept a British bottom bracket. I am thus ISO some kind of track crank, 46-ish teeth. Need not be lovely, or terribly vintage looking, though it should have some life left in it. I'll likely pass on colored anodized cranks (silver, please). I have lots of stuff. Let me know what you are looking for.

What will it match up with on the drive side?
There is an orphan parts Google spreadsheet which has lots of orphaned crank arms:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...5eA/edit#gid=1
The "owner" column is the person's bikeforums handle.
