LBS near Mill Creek WA and kids bike question

Hi,

1st post here. hoping to get a bigger bike for my older daughter, who is 5 and 7 m old. She's probably on the taller side of her age, but still pedals around (not well balanced) on a 12" wheel bike (training wheels are off). I try to find reviews but have not found many. Is Trek's Mystic 20 a good bike? I'm sure she'll like the pink color.

What good shops are near Mill Creek, WA? I notice that Gregg's Cycle has a store near Alderwood Mall. REI is there, but bike selection seems smaller.

Thanks.

There is the Bicycle Center shop on the Bothel, Everett highway( I beleive its highway 527) in the strip mall across the street of Fred Meyer at 132nd Street. They have a good variety of brands to look at.

It is always good to see another rider in Mill Creek. Your local options are:

The Bicycle Center across the Bothell-Everett Highway from Fred Meyer
Gregg's, REI and Performance, all down by Alderwood Mall
Bicycles West and Harvy's Bike Shop in Lynnwood

The potential problem is that for just about all shops, it seems, the selection of kid-sized bikes is low. Bicycles West in Lynnwood had a pretty good number of kid-sized bikes on the floor when I was there last month.

Snohomish Bicycles, at 1st and Avenue C, downtown Snohomish - just across the valley from you.

Thanks. I'll call up the stores and see if they can assemble one to test ride.

my 2 yr old is enjoying her push bike. so much easier than a tricycle.
