The 26c Specialized Turbo Cotton and the 25c Vittoria Open Corsa SC share the exact same cotton casting, only the rubber compound is different. If anything, specialized gets credit for having a more accurate true to size claim because these things measure out to 27-28mm.
The 26c Turbo Cotton has been sold out for months and only has come back into stock in the last week or so. Their 24c offering has been in stock, but you know, who rides 23mm rubber or equivalent anymore right?

Haha I don't own much harbor freight stuff besides that low profile steel jack and set of stubby wrenches I got for $80 and $8 respectively.
HF's stuff isn't cheap or jank to such an extent that it's a safety hazard it's just perceived that way because of it's down to earth price; put into perspective, it's the same perception for bikesdirect considering they both sell primarily in house brands with the seldom name brand item here and there.
Sure there's room to improve for both companies as far as quality goes but for the pricepoint and customer service you can't have them beat.
Exactly, you guys who put off HF due to perception are missing out!
I do have a disclaimer though, if you think something's not right, go with your gut and return/ exchange it! HF employees know it all all too well and will honor it no questions asked.

I guess i've seen my fair share of broken HF stuff over the years, I just personally feel they don't last long after heavy use over a period of time. You get what you pay for IMO..!
Bottom line is that Im just giving you guys ****

Penny wise and pound foolish.
Sorry, but I'm not willing to trust my life to some sloppy Chinese welds done by a child chained to a bench.

My work uses HF jacks, we've had two since I started three years ago and they are still going strong.
Snapon tools are just over priced because they can be. They tried to sell me some 4inch knife for 120 bucks that was made in Taiwan. Mac also tried selling me a cordless impact gun for like 160 and I found an ad for it at home depot for 99 bucks with a flashlight and drill pack.

Surprisingly, the welds on the motorcycle jack I have are really nice. I can't speak as to whether a child did them or not, though probably. I wasn't speaking for or against cheap tools. I generally stay clear of them. But if you look, most stuff is Chinese slave made, regardless of the brand now, unfortunately. Like was mentioned, Snap On stuff is just an overpriced name these days. Chinese made(more and more of it) but still the high price tag. I don't care wtf they say about their "stringent quality control" blah blah blah, they(not just them) still sold out American jobs, to make more profit.
I paid $12 for 6 pairs of Hanes socks, "Made In The USA", the other day. They looked less "cushiony" and comfortable than the Pakistani made ones, right next to them, for $2 less. When i got around to putting a pair of them on, boy was i pissed. Good thing it was just socks, and not jack stands made by a lazy American Union worker, on a Friday afternoon. They were so thin, I could see my ****ing feet through them, hahaha

I also have the HF floor jack...no issues.
I think it's funny how some of the folks here are knocking Harbor Freight, yet had/have bikes direct bikes in their collection. I don't mean to offend anyone by that comment, just saying...

I had an IR impact for like seven years of daily use before it finally died, definitely a good buy. Using Dewalt right now but we will see how long it lasts.

I don't hold 3000 pounds of metal over my face with a Kilo TT.
What's not to get?

Still kicking.
Not one of those. Was raised on Snap On, except for ratchets those go to craftsman. That being said, the harbor freight screw drivers are decent if you're working on something and need to modify a screw driver to get at the screw. Don't want to bend, mess up a good set of screw drivers.

I actually use Harbor Freight stuff for tools I consider disposable cause they break all the time from "creative use" in my work place.
T25s break monthly probably, lots of seized rotor bolts. And surprisingly enough 15 inch box ends do not get along well with a 5ft breaker bar haha. They like to snap from time to time.
Funny thing about the 15s, some snap the first use, some last 6 months. Says something about manufacturing consistency.
