I found this ebike motor in thrift shop

So while searching for a white elephant gift for my work holiday party, I happened upon what looks like 2 (one is gonna be a gift) 36 spoke ebike motors. Seems like they have never been laced up though they have some scratches from being out of the box:

its a little guy at just over 6lbs- from what I can glean from the internets its probably for a folding bike, front wheel. I am thinking.. maybe stick it on a kids bike? anyone familiar with this particular motor? (and a cheap source for accessories for it?)

Cristalyte NSM15 with number ME1606F0024

ebikesca sells that brand and might be able to assist getting a controller, display and whatever other parts are needed. Very helpful, experienced group with expensive (IMO) products.

hey: thanks for the lead: they have the exact one in the "discontinued" section:

https://www.ebikes.ca/shop/discontinued/mnsm15.html
my first order of business might be to ask how I can test it to see if its any good before spending money.
