Finding equivalent bike for trainer
Hi bike forums! I’m a newbie here...
I just upgraded to a Kickr Core from an old TacX Flow trainer, and I’m looking for a bike to put on it so I don’t have to keep putting my Allez on and taking it off to ride outside. I’m scanning Craigslist but having a hard time gauging the geometries of what I’m looking at. What are the most important measurements (other than frame size of course) when it comes to comparing two bikes? Are there any models in particular other than another Allez that might compare well?

Older diamond frame raod bikes are perfect for the trainer. Frame sizes are comparable, old vs. new. Match your dimensions (saddle height, etc.) and bob’s your uncle.

Same stack and reach are good indications of being able to replicate the fit of one on another.
