New Ortlieb back roller plus fraying edges

Hya guys purchased some new ortlieb back roller plus and notice they have slight fraying around the outside of the pannier on the on the front stitching. From a cosmetic point of view I’m not fussed as I know they’re gonna get scuffed/dirty etc on my travels. I’m more concerned about this effecting the quality/durability of the product. I’m expecting to travel around the world with these not have them fall apart in my door step lol
thanks guys Tried to add a pic but won’t let me

For what Ortlieb charges for their kit it should be perfect down to the very last molecule. I’d take it back for a replacement or refund.

Yes, my experience with Ortlieb customer service has been very good. It's worth contacting them. In my case, one plastic nut that holds the hardware on my City Roller stripped, and they sent me a new set of bolts/nuts for free.

The primary reason for buying expensive products, is to feel confident that you are getting a quality product that will work flawlessly for a long time. If you have any doubt whatsoever about whether it will function properly when new, I would contact the company you bought it from immediately. A good company will stand behind their product and make sure you're happy.

Wondering if they’re counterfeit. If not, then simply contacting the seller should be enough.

Cheers guys I’ve tried messaging them but seem to be having issues on the site. Will give an update on what they say about it when they get back to me.

I hope not lol, I can’t see them being counterfeit with them coming from a reputable local bike store
