min rim surface for brake pad -

hi,

does this look wrong? it seems the rim is very narrow profile. looks like the pad doesnt have enough rim surface. like not all of the pad is contacting the rim surface.

the rim is vintage-sized 26x1-3/8.

thamks!

The pad appears wider from the outside looking in.
With careful adjustment, the contact surface of the pad should be fine for the rim.

Nice-looking bike, by the way, very clean.
You might want to trim off the excess brake cable, once you're happy with the adjustment.
