Alright, so I acquired this frame with the idea that I would someday restore it. That day has not come and likely will not anytime soon.
Previous owner thought it would look "cool", I presume, to sand down parts of the frame to give it a raw steel look or "chrome" look. Who knows. Worst of all, several bits were cut off including the rear derailleur cable stop, the derailleur cable guides and the chain stay bridge. I have, and will include with the sale, the proper/correct San Rensho derailleur cable stop, and possibly correct derailleur cable guides (Campagnolo). I say "possibly correct" as the frame is built with Shimano EF dropouts/fork tips, so I would assume it likely would have had Shimano cable guides, but I cannot be sure. I have a few other 3Rensho built Allez but all have Campagnolo dropouts/fork tips and cable guides. The chain stay bridge on these frames were simple round tube, nothing fancy.
Saddest part about this is the paint aside from the "enhancements" done by the previous owner is in nice shape. A real shame.
Also worth noting, the tubing decal is not one I've seen before, the others in my collection do not have the oval with "3Rensho" within.
Surfaced rust present, that's it. No dents or dings or signs of an accident.
Frame is marked 58 on the bottom bracket (additional holes from previous owner removed part of the 58), and top tube measures 56/57cm center to center.
I would like to net $250. Now $180 + shipping via shipbikes.com.

Ok, so *now* I regret not buying that pristine $25 Univega a couple of weekends ago, which would have donated its Superbe drivetrain. I'm tempted to save this frame, but it's not something I can do right now. GLWTS!

@shnibop
So much going on here I don't know where to start.
Huge fan of these but no expert by any means.
If this was at least a 60, I would be seriously considering it but really need a 62 like the one I have that is the bottom of my new range since figuring out I need 64-66.
Any guess on year, others of yours have the same RD cable stop or pump peg?
Mine has Campy DO's and BB guides, pump peg and raised "S" on the SS caps, can they denote year being raised or engraved?

a very worthwhile project for somebody, but not my size so GLWS! I would not think Campy frame bits would be out of place on a Yoshi Konno built frame, even with the Shimano DOs and fork ends.

I've visited this thread three times today. The potential for a wonderful bike is all there.
So tempting.

Dropped price. I felt I was asking too much considering the small repairs and paint and shipping costs. I’ll do $200 plus shipping.

How is that missing chainstay bridge likely to affect the ride?

Couldn’t tell you. Wouldn’t be the first bike to not run a chain stay bridge, but those may have been designed with a stiffer/more stout BB or stays to accommodate. Not sure. But I’d have a new on brazed in while having the other bits brazed.
