Lemond Buenos Aires
This is on consignment at my local bike shop. It's my size and seems in very good condition. I took some photos. Can you tell me about it and what I should offer
I'm in the foothills of Northern California.

Nice LeMond, but the XT rear derailleur is definitely not original. Not that it's a bad thing, tho. Reynolds 853 is a sweet ride.
Much depends on your local market. Up until about a year ago, I could get $400-500 without too much problem. Nowadays, more like $350 - again, adjusted to your market.

I just sold my 2003 Tourmelet which was all upgraded with Ultegra/Dura Ace 10 speed parts and better bars for $400 last week. Bike was in really good shape. I see may Lemonds languishing locally though once the price gets over $250 lately.

Nice bike for sure.
Wonder how much tire (width) a guy could run on that baby?
650b candidate?
I'd probably go up to $350-400 on the bike listed above.
Looks like a great hill climber with that gearing.

Agreed. I'd love to see how much tire I could stuff in there. But then again, that's just my thing these days.
Then again, my Poprad will only take 700x33, but still rides wonderfully. Had it out this morning.

My 2001 Buenos Aires fits 650b x 38mm tires, but I had to do some chainstay dimpling in my vise.

Hmm- didn't think of 650B. That would be a great project.
