Flat tire

While getting a flat isn’t unusual this one seemed odd. I was talking to my neighbor after my ride, while sitting on my bike we hear a pop and air leaving the front tire. When I get home I pull the tire off there is no holes visible . I pump up the tube and some air is leaking out of the valve only. After putting in the new tube out of curiosity I pump air into the original tube and it’s holding air 3 hrs later. What could have caused a sudden loss of air.

If your tube has a Shrader valve....chances are the valve spring failed while the front wheel was under load.

Why don't you just ask him if he's over weight? My money is on the Jedi
