Transcontinental Race #7 results
Congratulations, Fiona Kolbinger on winning the 7th edition of TCR!
She finished not just fastest amongst 40 female participants but more than 10 hours ahead of the fastest male cyclist to become the overall winner. It was her first ultra-distance race (the London-Edinburg-London 1400 km Audax which she participated in two years ago technically is not a race).

Björn Lenhard, who like Kolbinger also hails from Dresden, dropped out on day 3. Having placed 2nd and 3rd overall in 2017 (TRC#5) and 2018 (TRC#6) respectively, he was considered one of the favourites to win the race this year. He was the fastest finisher in PBP 2015. Kolbinger and Lenhard had done some training together before the race:

Fiona is so strong, she really is. What’s more, she is a complete rider. Yes, you need to be strong but in this race you have to be able to think, to plan, to fix your bike if you have to.
She is also one of the strongest climbers in this race, much faster than me.

It's amazing to see the ground she covered, sometimes 300+ miles a day. There are some cool photos and an interesting story here :
