Many congrats to you and yours on the two weddings and the 30th anniversary. My FIL offered us 1000 to elope in 1976 and my MIL said no way she had done too much so far. Didn't matter to me I just wanted to marry Monica. I did and it has been 34 and 1/3 years of the best of my life time. I will have one to cover eventually but she is in grad school at Georgia now and says she doesn't have time for any relationships. No telling when or where with our son, he is a missionary for his church with a steady girl in Quebec. I get to go see this beautiful place soon, too!

Been there. Paid for that. My two daughters got married 6 weeks apart. We gave them each a moderate (about 1/2 the cost of a California wedding) and let them spend as they wished. One spent it all on the wedding. The other planned to divide it equally among the Wedding, Honeymoon and Savings. Savings lost out completely.

Now, we have two grandsons, born 10 days apart. Makes the cost of the weddings all worthwhile.

They're only spoiled if you consider Grandma giving them whipped cream in their bowl of fruit -- minus the fruit.

D'oh! Now wait a minute, that's something a cynical single man, like me, would say. :

How about Delusional Bride Magazine? Sorry, just couldn't resist.
