Odd that marking on saddle reads "Made in Germany" as cycle too early for reunification.

Old enough to be prewar?

@rhm may be able to enlighten us as regards saddle...

To my eye, it doesn't look like a German bicycle. Stylistically, it looks like an American balloon tire bike from the 50's-60's.

That's not to say it wasn't made in Germany, but that it wasn't made the German market.

What's the tire size? Looks like 26 x 2.0 or something, an American size. I'll also guess the pedals have 1/2” threads rather than 9/16. What's the rear hub?

As for the saddle, I can't tell you anything about that either, sorry @juvela!

Carl vom Feld saddles were made in Solingen, Germany, and marketed under the label "Feldur"
the web seems to know nothing at all beyond that, and neither do i. Solingen is in the area where most large bicycle roducers were located.
the tag "made in germany" was an english idea to warn customers off inferior german copies of quality english items (no joke). its been around since the late 19th century, so not much of a clue here.

balloon tires were very en vogue around 1935, people even raced on them, i have a few bike sports gazetes from that era which are full of ads for them.

i agree that the overall look of the bike screams "usa made", german utility bikes generallly looked less flashy and more no nonsense. especially the headlight.

does the bike have a Sachs rear hub? these can be dated very precisely i think.
