Bike value help
I’d appreciate some help from you guys...I tried bicycle blue book, but I can’t find the value of my bike before popup ads redirect me to a spam site. I’m considering selling my caad and need a value to see if it would be worth it. Here are the details:
2009 CAAD9 (made in USA)
DT Swiss RR440 rims on campy record hubs
Record 10s ultra shifters
Record brakes
Chorus 53/39 crank
Chorus RD
Campy 11-23 cassette
Ritchey WCS Carbon seatpost
Ritchey WCS bars
Zipp stem
Zipp cages
i think that’s all. What’s a reasonable listing/selling price on this?
Good condition, normal use scratches

Probably right about parting out. Keep anything you really love on the bike and transfer to the new one. I think the CAAD made in USA frame/fork are fetching ~3-400 depending on condition

Neat sounding bike.
the drivetrain is 3 or 4 gen old. Record was 10sp, then went to 11sp, then updated 11sp, now 12sp. <--- I think.
while it may be nice, i wouldnt think it would command high dollar. Same with the frame- its neither newest nor is it classjc/vintage. Somewhere between.
I would shoot for $600 as a bike and probably try to part it out instead

I hate to say it but this is probably the best advice. I'm a huge Campy fan and it's a great build but the parts would most likely fetch more than the build.

You say you're considering selling. FWIW unless you're desperate to sell for the cash, space, upgradeitis etc. (in which case, fair enough), I'd keep it. The value of your lovely sounding bike to others is never going to come close to the value of it to you IME.

I wouldn’t necessarily consider it ungradeitis...but close. My ten year old son and I recently went and rode some gravel. He had so much more fun and was so much more relaxed than road riding, that I want to be able to take him more often without subjected my road bike to the conditions. (No, not the caad)
Selling one of my bikes is the only way to fund a new bike right now.

Very good point.
