^^^^^^
The seller seems a bit uniformed on both price/value and model.......
Best, Ben

Guy's been trying to sell that thing for almost two years now.
Story then was that he bought this AND a Colnago track bike off the Russian coach in Moscow.

Initially he was asking $7500.

I may be wrong but pretty sure there was no soviet named team in 1991 and if there was unlikely they would ride none team level Colnagoo's with no team markings.

It’s stupid to be a grown man and NOT have 5k laying around to do whatever the flip you want to do with

(saying this sarcastically- I don’t have 5k just sashaying around the house to buy things like this either)

as for the bike? As has already been said, it’s a wall hanger. So is the Mona Lisa. Not many people talk jive on the owners of nice artwork for just buying wall hangers

For info when it comes to lower production Colnago's there was bit of boon a while back when a couple of there art bikes and limited editions racers collectors bike namely some owned by the late Robin Wiilliams actor sold at a charity sale for silly prices reported $100,000 for a spotted ugly art frame (Likely not True) , In a short fad several Colnago art frame sets sold in the $20,000 range or more on the art market and some nicer regular top end nicer looking vintage bikes sold in the 10,000 range the fad silly high prices ended ..Yet a lot of sellers hope they can just get a bit of these prices 10 years later which is not likely.

Frame has been (incorrectly) refinished and parts have been "improved" over the years is what he said back then.

And you'll never worry about flats again because it comes with airless tires
