Cannondale R300, caad2 size 48
I'm looking for a starter bike for a female friend who's about 5' tall. I don't know anything about this model except that it's from the 1990s and has a good reputation (based on this forum).
The handlebars look oversized for this smaller sized frame (but what do I know).
Seller is asking $200. I can't post pics or a URL yet because this is my first post and forum won't allow it.

Not a bad choice for a really small bike these had very nice fit and finish. I would ask is friend comfortable with down tube shifters or early brifters both of which can be a pretty tough learning curve for a newer rider on a small bike. As for handler bars they all tended to look pretty big on this style bike and were a bit big.
