1993 Specialized Allez Pro

This is a little too small for me, looking for general value. Frame is straight, but does have wear etc in spots.

That’s a fine Allez! Do the Claris levers and tri-color RD play nice together? I’ll assume it indexes properly and no spare clicks.

I see some corrosion on the rear rim at the spoke holes. I’d do my best to clean this up if I were selling.

As you’ve no doubt read on these pages, it’s a very tough sellers market right now. For me, something north of $250 but less than $400.

From the DiNucci designed era. I have one. Good bike. Oversized down and top tube. Handles well.
‘these do fly under the radar a bit as most not built up with top tier components.

if a local sale does not work, sell it a la carte. Sad but shipping a whole bike is very expensive now. In my view, a buyer will really be looking at the frame set with headset.

I put one in the "Craigs/Ebay are you looking" section not that far back at $350 and questioned whether it was a bit pricey? The consensus was no, with a reminder of the DiNucci connection. That said, the market is soft.

Claris does work with the Tri color, but I may put the appropriate STI shifters on it.

$300 or so -- the Scott Drop Ins are a slice of early 90's coolness

Great bike could be parted or held to maybe a better spring for more but I would be with $300 cash sell if your looking to sell soon.

I looked at this model, when returning to serious cycling in '93.
The salesman directed me to the Epic Pro, instead, with alloy lugs joining the carbon fiber tubing.
Full Dura Ace 8 STI and only a few hundred more, if memory serves. Wish I kept that bike!
This Allez Pro looks very nice, although not original. Maybe three to four hundred, in my mind.
