Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Face the Pain and Ultimate Remix. For those of you that ride with Ipods or ride the trainer/rollers, I haven't heard anything lately to top those two out. Instant energy. Ruined my weekend when Chuck Lidell got knocked out a couple of weeks ago though. Any other songs out there that really get your juices going?

I still get a kick out of people surprised Rampage beat chuck

I'll get another kick out of people who are surprised when Henderson beats Rampage too.

Didn't say I was surprised , Rampage is an awfully good fighter. I like Chuck that's all.

Recently saw some old Mike Tyson footage on ESPN Classic. I think it was the time he whipped Michael Spinks into never-never land.

He entered the ring only in his black trunks and low black shoes (no traditional robe) to this ominous static low-end *thrum*. It was intimidating as all hell.

T-Mobile is awesome because not only do they sponsor a ProTour team but they also offer "Don't Fear the Reaper" as a ringtone. It was *well* worth the $2 to hear it every time my phone rings.

So now that John McCain has made peace with the evangelicals, is he going to be a commentator at the next major MMA fight to get the support of all us MMA fans?

Physical by Olivia Newton-John or Wake Me Up Before You Go Go by Wham really get my juices flowing.

"Shipping Out To Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys. If you've seen "The Departed" its the song in the montage where Leo's character is in jail.
Also, ANYTHING by Pantera (especially "Walk").

Rampage is also a much better fighter than he was even just last year with real training partners now.

They're both teir 1 organisations. I think the fighters are directly interchangable. UFC guys beat pride guys all the time (Diaz just punished Gomi, Monson just beat Fujita who were considered top guys for example) and vice versa. However, they're both owned by Zuffa now, so we should see some excellent fights. Chuck v Vanderlei, Rampage v Henderson, Fedor v Randy (if he survives Gorgonzola)

As a fight fan you gotta love it.

Warrior's Code by The Dropkick Murphys.

Song about a boxer.

Am I the only one that prefers watching the smaller MMA weight classes because there is so much more movement and action?

Aside from the fact that Koscheck just beat Sanchez....the dude has next to no standup (Riggs fight was a fluke), and when he comes up against a better wrestler he's effectivly nullified. He's not even an A level fighter yet, let alone the best in the world pound for pound! Throw him up against 3 of the better guys at 170 and lets see what happens. Hughes would pound him out for a TKO, GSP would flat knock him out, and Serra would submit him quicker than hell! How could he possibly be the best fighter in the world?!

Bantam, i like all the weight classes, but the 155 division is great to watch. Always exciting.

Don't get me wrong, I like all the classes as the provide diversity. I just happen to find the action in 155 and 170 to be the most exciting.

Hell yeah! Chuck gotta start putting his hands up though.

And Gomi is just being Gomi, he underestimated and undertrained for that match. It's good to see him got knocked the **** up though. What a brat.
