Any B-33 Users?

Are any of the Clydes using Brooks B-33 saddles? I love the look but I'd like to hear from the horses' mouths how the B-33 treats the horses' asses, so to speak. It's a lot of money to drop on a saddle that I won't have the opportunity to test ride first. Please mention your weight, I won't tell anyone.

I'm "Uber" and I had one of those saddles for about a year. It was great, no discomfort issues. One of the rails broke because I had improperly installed it (It requires a special mounting clamp) and so I decided to try another type.

Right now I am trying the B17, it is not as wide, nor comfortable, but has stood up for over 2 years now.

I see that it requires an adapter to work with modern seat posts. Was that the problem? I plan to use this on a vintage bike from 1981. Will I need that special clamp?
