For real track racing the 165mm crank arm length was more about the spin at high cadence then banking strike. After all when you are racing your bike is leaning the other way around the curves of the track. (Note exception is the beginning of a sprint race. But then the racers typically can reposition their pedals if they need to track stand). Andy
